Wydział Prawa i Admin istracji UAM w Poznaniu jest organizatorem Międzynarodowej Konferencji pt. Improving protection of victims? rights: access to legal aid, która odbędzie się 9 czerwca 2014 r. w Poznaniu na Wydziale Prawa i Administracji. Celem Konferencji jest prezentacja aktualnie obowiązujących systemów pomocy prawnej w Europie
ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Polski, Bułgarii, Łotwy i Włoch, a także dyskusja na temat możliwych kierunków rozwoju europejskiego systemu pomocy prawnej.
Konferencvja realizowana jest w ramach projektu współfinansowanego przez Komisję Europejską dotyczącego pozycji pokrzywdzonego w procesie karnym i stanowi ostatni jego etap. Projekt, który koordynuje Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, realizowany jest wspólnie z reprezentantami trzech państw ? Łotwy – Sabiedriskas Politicas Centrs PROVIDUS, Bułgarii Center for the Study of Democracy i Włoch Consorzio Interuniversitario per la Formazione.
Celem Konferencji jest prezentacja aktualnie obowiązujących systemów pomocy prawnej w Europie ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Polski, Bułgarii, Łotwy i Włoch, a także dyskusja na temat możliwych kierunków rozwoju europejskiego systemu pomocy prawnej. W konferencji udział wezmą przedstawiciele środowiska naukowego z całej Europy, a także praktycy świadczący pomoc prawną na terenie Unii Europejskiej.
Konferencja organizowana jest pod patronatem Ministra Sprawiedliwości oraz Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich. Szczegółowe informacje na temat projektu, który będzie przedmiotem dyskusji znajdują się pod adresem: http://victimsrights.eu/.
